Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 4, 2026

Welcome to Cascade Fabric Care. We are committed to providing professional, high-quality on-site upholstery cleaning services throughout Metro Vancouver. These Terms & Conditions explain how our services are provided and help establish clear expectations for both our customers and our team.

By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Our Commitment

At Cascade Fabric Care, we treat every piece of furniture with care and respect. Our team uses professional equipment and cleaning methods designed to safely clean and refresh upholstery, mattresses, carpets, and area rugs.

While we strive to achieve the best possible results, every fabric and every stain is different. Some conditions are beyond the control of any professional cleaning service, which is why the following terms apply.

1. Pre-Service Inspection

Before cleaning begins, our technician will inspect the furniture for existing wear, stains, discoloration, loose seams, damaged fabric, weakened stitching, or other conditions that may affect the cleaning process or final results.

If we identify any concerns, we will discuss them with you before proceeding.

2. Cleaning Results

Our goal is to improve the appearance and freshness of your furniture using professional cleaning methods.

However, we cannot guarantee complete removal of all stains, odours, or discoloration. Some stains and odours may be permanent due to factors such as:

  • Pet urine

  • Bleach damage

  • Dye transfer

  • Ink

  • Paint

  • Food or beverage staining

  • Age-related discoloration

  • Previous cleaning attempts

  • Other permanent fabric damage

Certain deep-seated odors, particularly those caused by pet contamination, may temporarily become more noticeable during the drying process before improving.

3. Pre-Existing Damage

Cascade Fabric Care is not responsible for damage resulting from conditions that existed before cleaning, including but not limited to:

  • Fabric dry rot

  • Weak or deteriorated stitching

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Colour instability

  • Fabric shrinkage due to manufacturing issues

  • Existing tears or weakened materials

  • Previously repaired areas

Cleaning may reveal hidden wear, fading, fraying, or damage that was previously concealed by accumulated dirt and oils.

4. Furniture Care

Our background in furniture upholstery allows us to understand many upholstery materials and construction methods. We use professional judgment when selecting cleaning techniques that are appropriate for the furniture being serviced.

Whenever we believe cleaning may present an unusual risk, we will discuss the situation with you before proceeding.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To help us provide safe and efficient service, customers agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the furniture being cleaned.

  • Inform us of any known damage, previous repairs, or special concerns.

  • Remove fragile or valuable items from the immediate work area.

  • Keep children and pets away from the work area while cleaning is being performed.

6. Surrounding Property

We take reasonable precautions to protect surrounding flooring and nearby surfaces during the cleaning process.

However, Cascade Fabric Care cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing structural issues, hidden defects, or conditions beyond our reasonable control.

7. Drying Time

Drying times vary depending on fabric type, humidity, airflow, temperature, and the condition of the furniture.

Customers are encouraged to allow adequate drying time before using cleaned furniture.

8. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept the payment methods communicated at the time of booking.

9. Appointment Changes and Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

This helps us better serve all of our customers.

10. Satisfaction

Customer satisfaction is important to us.

If you have concerns regarding the service you received, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment so we can review the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cascade Fabric Care's liability for any proven damage caused directly by our negligence shall be limited to the lesser of:

  • The amount paid for the cleaning service; or

  • The reasonable cost of repairing the affected area.

Cascade Fabric Care shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

12. Privacy

Information submitted through our website or during the booking process is used only for providing quotes, scheduling appointments, communicating with customers, and delivering our services.

13. Governing Law
